SESCA is the South East branch of the Care Association Alliance. SESCA brings together Care Associations from the South East, including Surrey Care Association, and facilitates learning and development opportunities for Care Association members to access on International Recruitment amongst other things. These opportunities are funded by the Department of Health and Social Care.

SESCA provides training for recently arrived overseas care workers sponsored by providers in the South East. The training courses cover topics such as language skills, care standards, end-of-life care concepts, and making the emotional adjustment to life in the UK.

Offering supplementary employment to overseas workers

To comply with UKVI guidance when employing overseas workers in supplementary positions of up to 20 hours, employers must first complete Right to Work checks. Our guide includes a template letter you can use to request information from the primary sponsor about the person you want to employ.
