David took up the role of Chief Executive of the Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society in December 2023. Prior to this, he spent 36 years leading and supporting sailors in the Royal Navy. Educated at Reed’s School in Cobham, David is a graduate of Britannia Royal Naval College, the Advanced Command and Staff Course, and the Royal College of Defence Studies.
