Three reasons to book your place: SCA conference 13 May
Influential speakers, combatting compassion fatigue and quality improvement with heart
Nationally influential speakers with genuine sector experience
As well as being part of the adult social care national debate, we have chosen speakers such as Nadra Ahmed MBE, Chair of the Care Provider Alliance who is herself a care provider. It is important to us that we hear from those with experience and expertise specific to our sector and understand pressures that social care services face
Fraser Rickatson, expert Policy Manager at national body Care England will also be speaking to us tangible ways to sustain excellence in social care in the current funding landscape. Fraser is dedicated to advocating for sustainable funding, fair workforce conditions, and meaningful reform. He works closely with government departments, MPs, and policymakers to shape national debates on adult social care funding.
Combat compassion fatigue
We’re now in April which is national stress awareness month, and we will hear from a speaker with tips on how to manage stress for your teams and for yourself.
Trudi Davison works with people to help them understand how the work they do affects them physically and emotionally and will be sharing ways to help people help themselves and their colleagues in proactive and practical ways
Quality improvement with heart
Friends of SCA members (and colleagues we keep asking back!) are Sam and Barbara from NHS Surrey Heartlands.
Two highly experienced Quality Improvement experts who work with our sector as well as other specialists such as those involved in mental health transformation and improvement. They help us strive for sustainable progress in the services that are being delivered
Come and hear our speakers, join with colleagues in the sector and be refreshed at our conference on 13 May!
