Quality improvement training is available for everyone working in health and social care in Surrey Heartlands. Quality improvement is about making our services better.

As well as training, there is the Surrey Improvers Networka regular improvers’ network where people with an interest in improvement can meet via Teams and share best practice, network and seek peer support. For more information contact [email protected].

The following two courses cover everything you need to know about the principles of improvement and how to apply them.

Making Change Happen

This course typically involves four two hour sessions over four weeks, with six hours of self-study.

Root Cause Analysis ‘lunch and learn’

45 minute lunch and learn
Do you want to find a way to do things better? Start by really understanding the problem that you are trying to solve. This 45 minute virtual session on root-cause analysis will explain how to use a fishbone diagram, and the ‘5 whys’ to consider your problem from a variety of perspectives and build better solutions.
